Dessie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Studies from the University of Maryland. Prior to joining MRIS, she was the Events and Marketing Associate at WeatherBug where she was responsible for planning events, trade shows and supporting marketing initiatives. Spending several years prior to that working at Regal Entertainment Group movie theatres, she is a stickler for customer service. Born and raised in the DC area, she is surrounded by close family and friends. She loves to camp and participate in outdoor activities and spends much of her spare time training and exercising her new German Shepherd puppy.
