In Philadelphia, Doris and Shirley Blumberg were seniors at Girl’s High and Marlyn Wescoff was completing a minor in business machines... Continue Reading

Generation Renter

May 8, 2012  |  by MRIS_CMO

I’ve spoken and written before about emerging trends in the economy with regard to newer generations and their bias towards renting rather than owning real estate. While there’s a number of good reasons for people taking this approach, we’ve written extensively that the MidAtlantic is possibly an exception to this rule. About 5 or 6 years later, we then witnessed Neal Armstrong’s steps on the... Continue Reading

March 12, 2012  |  by MRIS_CMO

I’m sure many of us have been involved in a situation where someone involved in a conversation, business transaction or drive-time incident did not act in a civil manner. I travel a good deal over the US and I find, in spite of stereotypes, that civility is lacking wherever I go. Civility is defined as “authentic respect for others requiring... Continue Reading

Face-Recognition Billboard Displays Ads To Women

March 8, 2012  |  by MRIS_CMO

Imagine the implications for real estate advertisements! Huffington Post Tech reports that “An interactive billboard at a London bus stop can scan your face and determine if you’re a man or a woman by using facial recognition technology. The display then plays one of two messages based on that information.” The practice of behavioral targeting is also gaining momentum in US markets.... Continue Reading
