000h No, Don’t Forget the Zeros When Entering Listings in Keystone!

July 7, 2011  |  by Anne

When entering listings in Keystone, don’t forget to enter the full list price instead of using the $1,000s option that’s only available in Matrix.
Though a great timesaver, the shortcut only applies to Matrix – but if you think it would be a great addition to Keystone, let us know by commenting below!  So remember, a listing must be entered as it’s full list price like this example: $400,000 instead of  $400.  If you make this type of mistake on your price, edit your listing in Keystone with the correct List Price and shoot datacorrect@mris.net an email with the MLS# you wish to change. Also include the correct Original List Price in your email.

Aren’t you 000h so glad you read this reminder 🙂

One of the questions we received on our Facebook page was asking why we don't have the $1,000s option in Keystone. The data entered in Keystone is displayed in Matrix but also in Homesdatabase.com, XactSite website, ActiveAgent website as well as other public facing consumer sites. Most of which do not offer the time saving search technique. However, we are in the process of renovating the Keystone data entry process. If you believe we should allow the option to enter the price in thousands, similar to Matrix, we can add that suggestion to our list. Just let us know on this blog or our Facebook fan page!

I actually prefer entering the full list price rather than the $1,000's.

Hi Lori and Ted, you can still enter the list price in full if you choose to. Simply uncheck the 1000s box option. Happy searching!
