HomesDatabase.com will soon become MRIShomes.com!
Why the new name? We’re renaming the site so that the public recognizes the information is coming from MRIS and our customers, and with this URL we can better align the consumer website with the MRIS Homes mobile app so your future clients can use either or both for real time local listing information.
How will consumers find the site if it has moved? Once the change is made, the HomesDatabase.com URL will automatically redirect to MRIShomes.com so your current links will not “break.” Also, we are launching an ad campaign in April to help raise consumer awareness of the site and the new URL. We will be advertising via print, radio, television and Metro trains and stations.
Why are we doing this? Our main goal is, and has always been, to get local eyes on MRIS customers and listings. MRIShomes.com aims to match buyers and sellers to MRIS customers, and, as always, all leads generated through this website go directly to our customers at no additional cost.
How does this help you? With the support of our advertising campaign, MRIS customers can better compete against 3rd party, national consumer home search sites. As your MLS, we can provide the consumer with something those other sites can’t – accurate listing information in real-time.
What’s next? The name change is just the first part. We want to explore ways from MRIShomes.com to provide additional value for our buyers’ agents as well. If you have suggestions, please leave them in the comments or send us an email. In the meantime, all MRIS customers should make sure that your contact information, headshot and website (if you have one) are current and visible on the site so potential clients can find you. You can update your information from the My Account page on MRIS.com (login required).

We are excited to get this message to the public, and we hope you’ll help us spread the word!
