Day 17: The Benefits of MRIShomes.com

September 25, 2013  |  by Jess

Since HomesDatabase.com became MRIShomes.com back in April, we’ve been averaging over 500,000 visits a month, with over 1,000,000 unique visitors searching the site during that timeframe. That’s a lot of eyes on listings.

Make sure your photo and accurate contact information are available so you get the most benefit from that traffic! If you don’t have your headshot uploaded to MRIS.com through My Account, your photo isn’t showing up on MRIShomes.com. Click “Upload your headshot to MRIShomes.com (formerly HomesDatabase)” to upload your photo.

You can update your contact information by clicking on “Account Changes” in the My Account menu and selecting “Change My Contact Information.”

  1. Nick Gioia says:

Unfortunately, the old website was a failure with regards to market penetration and philosophy of use since they never got their clients “Realtors” buy-in. Syndication has side stepped the need for a central website and agents will never refer or publically acknowledge this website to their clients.
Until MRIS dedicates their efforts to offering their subscribers an integrated IDX or RETS solution for retail customers similar to MRIShomes.com our industry will still see MRIS as the enemy. Furthermore, they are allowing national websites like Zillow, Redfin and Trulia to degrade the market and advertise listings which are under contract or sold.

So why does every agent I speak to have a bone to pick with MRIS? It’s not hard to see that MRIS has an anterior agenda to capture easy money while providing their subscribers with inferior service. Thanks MRIS!
