Real estate agents rejoice! Facebook now offers support for panoramic photos, which adds a whole new level to showcasing great listing photos. Once a 360° photo shows up in a timeline, the user can use the simple click and drag to move through the image across their screen. This is great for listings with sweeping views or huge frontage that you want potential buyers to see as soon as they look at the post. It can also be great for interior rooms that have several different features you want to promote. For example, instead of having separate photos for the fireplace, bay windows, and large screen television you can use a panoramic photo to capture it all in one image.

You can take 360° photos from most smartphones and upload them to Facebook the same way you would normally upload a picture. Or if you are having a listing professionally shot, Facebook supports 360° photos from the following cameras:

  • Samsung Gear 360
  • RICOH THETA S
  • 360Fly
  • Giroptic 360 Cam
  • ALLie Camera
