Bottom line: As the housing downturn drags on, the apartment sector is picking up. Some of the nation’s largest apartment-building landlords are reporting an end to rent declines.
Thus, real estate professionals have to work harder than ever to educate their customers on the significant advantages homeowners enjoy — both financially (in terms of tax benefits) and psychologically.
I just became a homeowner again after nearly three years as a renter. It feels good to own a home again!
