Take Our 2014 Housing Market Outlook Survey

February 3, 2014  |  by Jess

Housing Market Trends for 2014Last May, we launched our very first survey on the Real Estate industry. We had such a strong response that we’re doing it again in 2014. Will this year’s spring market be a buyer’s or a seller’s market? Have you seen or heard of new technology trends you’d like to try? Do you anticipate any new challenges? We want to know what your thoughts are!

Please fill out our 2014 Housing Market Outlook survey and provide your feedback on the current state of the real estate market, new and/or changing trends with buyers and sellers and the impact of innovative real estate technology on your business.

Because the survey can take a few minutes to complete, we’re offering MRIS subscribers who take the survey a chance to win a $250 Visa┬« gift card.*

Ready to take the survey? Click here to get started.

*Winner will be selected at random. Please note that to be eligible to win, you must be a current MRIS customer in good financial standing and who does not have any late fees with MRIS.

If you didn’t take last year’s survey, we surveyed MRIS subscribers about the characteristics and preferences of homebuyers and sellers within the MRIS footprint. 1100+ real estate professionals answered questions about buyers & sellers in the Mid-Atlantic area, and we analyzed and published this visual breakdown of characteristics of homebuyers (including turnoffs and key considerations for home purchasing) in a helpful infographic – click here to view.

You guy have so many wonderful content for new and veteran agents it's hard to find a match for what you provide. Love the site.

MRIS email had been experiencing some compatibility issues with Windows 8 back in December. At that time you all were aware of some of those issues and were working towards resolving them. With so many of the new computers and laptops running with Windows 8 now I was curious if they've been able to make some progress on that front?

Please change the community remarks for zip code 21214, you are saying that it is close to Dundalk, Lansdowne, Arbutes, Haliethorpe, Brooklyn. They are all south east or south west of the city.
We are in the Northeast section of the city and we are closer to Parkville (our zip is next to Parkville), Towson, Perry Hall, Gardenville.

Please, revise the mobile app to allow agents more flexibility in their search: Search by strreet, neighborhood etc. Thanks.

I wonder who prepared this Questionnaire. Several of the questions did not apply to the Eastern Shore of MD and there was no opportunity on many of the questions to indicate an alternative "Other" answer. For instance about whether there would be enough inventory! It appeared to be slanted towards the DC area.

Thanks MRIS for the feedback/surveys. My biggest pet peeve would be the mobile app. We have to memorize (shouldn't be a big deal) but when you are with a client and having conversation it will be a lot easier to be able to dial the number thru the app.
I agree with Raphael allowing more search criteria and link to tax record would be great feature.
