He has over 25 years of association experience, starting at the National Association of Realtors, where he served as a Legislative Analyst for tax issues. Prior to joining NAHB, Jerry served as the Chief Lobbyist for the National Council of State Housing Agencies where he was instrumental in the development of the low-income housing tax credit as part of the Tax Reform Act of 1986.

Stephen has authored more than 500 articles, papers, and reports in the field of urban and regional economic development including monthly reports on the Washington metropolitan area and Fairfax County economies. His research focuses on the changing structure of metropolitan area economies and measuring their current and near-term performance. In September 2001, the GMU Board of Visitors appointed him University Professor and in July 2002 he was named to the Dwight Schar Faculty Chair. Also, in 2007, he was appointed by Cardinal Bank as its Chief Economist.
David Charron
President and CEO
David has been recognized by Inman News as one of the “Most Influential People in Real Estate,” as well as one of the “Top Ten Newsmakers” by the Swanepoel Trends Report. Prior to leading MRIS, the nation’s largest MLS system, David was president of Net Input, an Internet-based business consulting practice serving Fortune 500 clients in apparel, media, sports and real estate. From 1980 to 1997, he managed several organizations that have successfully defined, marketed and delivered information systems to Real Estate professionals. David currently serves as Chairman of the MRIS Investment Committee and is a Director of RESO (Real Estate Standards Organization).
