5 Things You Didn’t Know About HomesDatabase.com

August 31, 2011  |  by Kerry

How much do you know about HomesDatabase and what it can do for you?  Here are 5 things you may not know.

Add your Agent Photo

You can upload your agent photo to display with your listings on HomesDatabase.com, and in the Agent Search. Just as listings with photos get more attention, agents with photos get more attention. You can easily upload your agent photo by logging into MRIS.com, clicking on My Account, and then clicking on “Upload your headshot to HomesDatabase.com”.

Make Sure Your Contact Information is Up to Date so Consumers Can Reach You

Just as listings with minimal information don’t get much interest, agents who don’t have complete or up to date contact information are going to miss opportunities to attract attention from consumers. Log in to MRIS.com, click on My Account, then Account Changes, and then Change My Contact Information. Make sure that you have a phone number in the Agent Office Phone field – this is the number that is displayed on HomesDatabase.com.  Also make sure your Public Email Address and Website are up to date. This will allow consumers to email you through HomesDatabase.com and click through to your website. This video shows how easy it is to update your contact information.

Add no-reply@homesdatabase.com to your Email Address Book to Make Sure You Receive Leads from HomesDatabase.com!

HomesDatabase.com is designed to encourage consumers to contact MRIS agents, and the new version of HomesDatabase has even more lead generation options: Request Information, Schedule a Viewing, and options to email the agent directly. To make sure you receive all leads from HomesDatabase.com, add no-reply@homesdatabase.com to your Email Address Book so that these emails are not put into your junk or spam folders.

just wondering HOW one can "have reports emailed to you each month that show the activity for your listings on HomesDatabase.com" (likely a really dumb question, but I am unabashed) – thanks

    • Gail Hardesty says:

Log into MRIS and click on the "ListHub". It's in the Quick Links box. You can view the report there. If you go to settings you can update the report & there is a box you can check to have it e-mailed to you. Very cool…

    • MRIS_Kerry says:

Yes, Gail is correct – when you log into mris.com, you'll see ListHub under Quick Links. Click on the link and you will be logged into LisHub. Then under Settings, just check the box to have the report emailed to you.

      Thanks Gail!

Thank you for the information. I just updated my information. Question: On the report can we get the break down by listing?

    • MRIS_Anne says:

      Hi Ritu,

Yes, the listing agent receives a report of activity for each of their listings on HomesDatabase, as well as the other sites you syndicate your listings to through ListHub.

  7. Hope that I am a single incident here: I uploaded my photo a while ago and I could see it in MRIS, yet, I could never see it in my Homesdatabase profile. I tried again to upload a new photo, and still no luck. Can you help? Thank you.
