We’ve moved up in the world! Or at least the rankings of Best Places To Live as determined by U.S. News & World Report. Last year the Washington Metro area came in at #8, but this year we have moved up four spots to vie with other high-ranking cities like Austin, Denver, and San Jose.
The report analyzed many different variables including: cost of living, median income, crime rate, access to health care, quality of education, unemployment rates and more. If you have clients moving to the area, or ones that live here and are looking to put down roots, share this article with them so they know they’re choosing a good place to live.
If you want to back up the claim with data, this page explains how they came up with each ranking and if you go to the Washington city page you can see how this region ranks for each individual variable.
