Why have principal brokers opted out of RPR? Doing this skews the market data in a wrong way.
JoAnn,
Thank you for your comment. I cannot speak for the brokers that have decided to opt-out of the RPR listing sharing service, nor the brokers that have decided to share their listing content with RPR. As the MRIS product manager for the RPR product, my goal is to encourage innovation and collaboration while maintaining a broker's right to control the distribution of their listing content. I believe we have accomplished this by promoting RPR while offering broker's the ability to opt-in or out of the RPR listing sharing service.
